We handle everything from offering and setting up onsite equipment all the way through creating, and producing onsite presentations with your preferred presentation software for courtroom playback.
When travel just isn’t an option, we can coordinate a videoconference deposition between one of our video conference sites. We can handle this in Milwaukee, Madison, or anywhere in the state. We handle many out of state video conference requests as well. We also offer mobile deposition services to include mobile videoconferencing Our mobile videoconferencing services offer access to videoconference using a laptop or mobile device while on the road or in your office.
Have an out of town deposition?View their real-time text remotely on your computer or in your home office, while on the road or sitting at your desk. Our professional Certified Realtime court reporters can transmit your proceedings to an internet deposition streaming broadcast service of your choice. We’ve expanded our realtime streaming capabilities to allow all realtime client software to receive our internet based feeds. The realtime text and/or audio is streamed to a secure server through an encoder that provides attorneys and experts login credentials to view the remote deposition from any location with internet access.
A subpoena in Wisconsin must be issued to a potential witness with “reasonable notice.” Upon service of subpoena, opposing counsel have 10 days time to object to the subpoena, or if date of testimony is within ten days of subpoena service, petitioning attorney must have opposing counsel’s waiver of objection. Attorneys for the parties to litigation in Federal Court cases can create and have served their own subpoenas. No need for assistance from any Federal or State court in Wisconsin. Make a check payable to the witness in the amount of $40, plus 44.5 cents/mile for the round trip for the witness to the deposition site. Check with the local district clerk to verify current rates. Locate a process server (see below) to have your subpoena served. Milwaukee County has a case filing fee of $158.50. Outlying counties may have lesser or no fees. Check rates in the county where the witness resides.
Many of our clients qualify for courtesy conference rooms, either in Milwaukee or Madison.
Naturally, this includes videoconferencing capabilities and can house 20 people or more when needed. Some feature overhead projectors and screens, built-in AV systems and traditional audio conferencing. All of our conference rooms are equipped with wired or wireless internet and laptops can be provided upon request as well, as emergency backups.
